Let’s Talk About Age

Luchita Hurtado died the other day. Most likely, she is one of the greatest artists of whom you never heard. She was 99.

I have studied art, mostly having to do with applying oil paint to canvas, for nearly 30 years, haunting galleries worldwide, buying books of noted colorists, and copying styles of those that intrigued, haunted and overwhelmed me.

There were many, most capturing my imagination were from a period between the 1830s to the present.
